Most people feel pretty bad when they have to send back food at a restaurant, but sometimes, it’s perfectly acceptable! And depending on how bad the situation is, it would even be okay to ask for a refund. Here are some examples of when it’s alright to do so:
1. When there’s a foreign object in your food. Like a hair or a bug.
2. When there’s an ingredient you’re allergic to. Especially if you asked them to leave it out, or it wasn’t listed on the menu.
3. When your food is over or under cooked. Especially if it’s way off in either direction.
4. When something that’s supposed to be hot comes out cold, or vice versa.
5. When it’s not what you ordered, obviously. (Photo: Why We Web)
