According to a new study, kids generally like the family pet more than their brothers or sisters, especially if it’s a dog. Research found that kids do LOVE their siblings, but still see them as competition when it comes to new toys, clothes, getting love from their parents, etc. Children obviously don’t have those issues with a pet. The kid/pet relationship gives them unconditional love and companionship, but they don’t have to compete with their furry friend. (Photo: Dog Time)
