While we brace ourselves for the Polar Vortex, let’s think about individuals and families who don’t have a home to shelter them from the cold.  Homeless shelters here in Calgary are preparing for an increased need for their services with temperatures that are dropping over the weekend.  Shelters say that during cold snaps, donations of warm outerwear are in high demand including toques, jackets, scarves, snow pants & boots.  Click here for more.
