54% of parents believe sharing a meal is a great way to bond with family, but 40% have three or fewer family dinners per week.

In a survey of 2,000 adults found that parents would find it easier to home-cook more dinners if they had planned meals ahead, had quicker, healthier meals to prepare, and if everyone’s schedules matched.

There are some generational differences, with millennial and Gen X parents preferring their child to know the importance of family time, while 43% of Gen Z parents want their kids to love food.
