Calgary is moving forward with a city-wide composting program starting in mid 2017. Council approved the green bin composting program Monday and it will come with a price tag of $6.50 per month for home owners. Black bin pick-up will also be reduced to once every other week. The city hopes to cut down on landfill waste by 70% by 2025 with the help of this new program. (660News)
