Should We Put a Ban on Homework?

For elementary-aged children, research suggests that studying in class gets superior learning results, while extra schoolwork at home is, exactly that…  extra work. Homework seems to have little or no academic benefit and can even cause children to develop a negative attitude towards school. More info on the research of the effects of homework can be found HERE.
