Alberta Premier Jim Prentice made an annoucement this morning that many were expecting. Albertan will head to the polls for a provincial election on May 5th. The campaign will play out against the backdrop of an Alberta economy in flux. Prentice’s PCs will be running on a budget that includes tax hikes and spending cuts to ride out the storm. (660News)
